Glass for a 3D printer - compensation of curvatures and comfort
The 3D printer build table is where the magic happens - this is where the filament 3D prints are finally made. Could there be glass here instead of PEI steel known from legendary models such as the Prusa i3 MK3S+? Yes of course. Although it may seem like a lower quality or simply economical option, we have tempered glass with a carborundum coating, reinforced and more resistant to heat, which prevents the glass from deforming during printing. Equipped with mounting elements, the glass plate makes the use of the 3D printer more pleasant thanks to the ability to keep it clean and better adhesion. It happens that the print bed is crooked or the first layer of printing is slightly warped and unsightly - especially here additional leveling in the form of glass will work. Installation is usually very simple and safe thanks to the protected edges.
Plates and pads for 3D printers
Self-adhesive and mounted plates for 3D printers are another way to keep clean, improve adhesion and comfort of use. They cope well with most filaments, do not require glues or adhesive tapes and show high wear resistance.
