The heart of the chip is a powerful 32-bit STM32F205 microcontroller with ARM Cortex-M3 core. The built-in WiFi module allows for a very simple wireless connection to the Internet. Photon is available with or without connectors (in which case you need to assemble the pins yourself). We also have the Particle Argon board bundled with the Particle Xenon board, debugger, WiFi antenna, Featherwing board and add-on components (diodes, resistors, wiring and a contact board). The Particle Argon supports WiFi, Mesh and Bluetooth, while the Particle Xenon supports the latter two communication standards in addition. You can also buy these boards separately in smaller kits.
