Product description: Package - Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Combo 3D Printer + 4 PLA+ filaments
The Centauri Carbon 2 Combo by Elegoo is a plug-and-play 3D printer that redefines the standards of home and professional printing. A stable, die-cast aluminum frame allows for print speeds of up to 500 mm/s while maintaining excellent detail precision. The printer offers a 256 x 256 x 256 mm build volume and a fully enclosed chamber. Combined with a nozzle that heats up to 350°C and a 110°C bed, this allows for the use of demanding technical materials such as PA-CF and PC. A key element of the system is the CANVAS system, which manages four spools of filament and supports RFID technology for automatic material recognition with Elegoo. Safety is ensured by 31 sensors, an AI camera, and a HEPA filtration system with activated carbon . The whole thing is complemented by full auto-calibration, quiet operation below 45 dB and an intuitive 5-inch touchscreen, making Centauri Carbon 2 Combo the perfect choice for both professionals and enthusiasts.
The package also includes 4 spools of high-quality PLA filament, making it the perfect solution for those looking for uncompromising quality and readiness to operate from the very first minute.
3D Printer - Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Combo.
The CANVAS system enables 4-color printing and automatic filament management.
Precise multi-color printing with the CANVAS system
The innovative CANVAS system enables the creation of multi-color models without interrupting the device's operation. Equipped with independent motor control and RFID technology, the system automatically recognizes the filament type and color (Elegoo brand), selecting optimal printing parameters. The Auto Refill function allows for seamless switching to a second spool of the same material when the first spool runs out, ensuring continuity even with large projects. Additionally, intelligent tangling detection protects the print from damage by automatically pausing the process if filament feeding issues occur.
Efficient CoreXY kinematics and high operating speed
The use of a CoreXY system with 4260 stepper motors allows the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Combo to print significantly faster than traditional "bedslinger" designs. The device operates stably at speeds of around 500 mm/s , drastically reducing the time it takes to produce a finished model without sacrificing surface quality. Low-friction metal linear guides and active vibration compensation ensure print edges remain sharp and layers are perfectly consistent. The robust aluminum construction minimizes resonance, resulting in excellent dimensional precision in every part.
Wide filament compatibility
With a fully enclosed build chamber and a nozzle that can withstand temperatures up to 350°C , the printer opens the door to the world of professional technical materials. You can freely use filaments such as ABS , ASA , PC, Nylon (PA) , and carbon fiber-reinforced variants (PLA-CF, PETG-CF) . An intelligent ventilation system and thermal shield ensure temperature stability inside the chamber, effectively eliminating shrinkage and warping of demanding materials. A heating bed that reaches 110°C ensures excellent first-layer adhesion.
Intelligent monitoring system and AI sensors
The safety and reliability of the printing process are ensured by an extensive network of 31 sensors that analyze the condition of the device's components in real time. A built-in camera with artificial intelligence algorithms can detect printing errors such as "spaghetti" and enables remote viewing and the creation of impressive time-lapse videos. The printer independently checks nozzle blockage, the condition of the filament cutter, and the correct operation of all cooling fans . In the event of a sudden power loss, the Power Loss Recovery system allows for resuming work exactly where it was interrupted .
31 intelligent sensors guarantee smooth and reliable printing.
The printer is designed to operate quietly, making it suitable for shared spaces at home and in the office.
Quiet operation and clean air in your home
The Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Combo is designed for use in residential spaces, generating noise levels below 45 dB in quiet mode . An advanced composite filtration system combines a HEPA filter with coconut shell activated carbon , effectively neutralizing particulates and odors. This allows the printer to operate safely in an office or bedroom without negatively impacting the comfort of household members. The entire process is controlled by an intuitive 5-inch capacitive touchscreen with a smartphone-like interface.
Modern software and wireless connectivity
Project management is handled within an integrated ecosystem, which includes a dedicated slicer and the Elegoo Matrix mobile app for remote control via Wi-Fi. Users have access to the Nexprint platform , which allows direct download and printing of thousands of 3D models with a single click. The device supports file formats such as STL, OBJ, 3MF, and STEP , making work easier for both hobbyists and CAD engineers. Regular over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates ensure that the printer gains new features and optimizations over time.
