A step-servo motor feeding filament in the K2
Creality Extrusion Motor is an original step-servo motor that drives the extruder of the Creality K2, Creality K2 Pro and Creality K2 Plus printers, in place of the previous motor.
It feeds filament to the hotend. A step-servo is a stepper motor with a position sensor: the controller checks that the shaft has turned by the commanded angle, so the extruder does not lose steps. A gear that drives the extruder wheels is mounted on the shaft, and there is an electronics board on the back of the motor. The manufacturer part number is 4004100081.
