The Seeedstudio Xiao ESP32-C5 is a small development board measuring just 21 x 17.8 mm , based on Espressif's ESP32 -C5HR8 chip. The microcontroller utilizes a powerful, 32-bit RISC-V core clocked at up to 240 MHz and an additional energy-efficient LP core operating at up to 48 MHz. The module supports dual-band WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5 LE, and the IEEE 802.15.4 standard , enabling the creation of devices compatible with Matter, ZigBee, Thread, HomeKit, and MQTT . The board also includes 8 MB of Flash memory, 8 MB of PSRAM , a Li-Ion/Li-Pol battery charging circuit, a U.FL antenna connector, and a rich set of communication interfaces. Thanks to the classic Xiao series format , the module can be easily integrated with existing expansion boards and your own projects.

Despite its small size, the Xiao ESP32-C5 offers a rich set of pins for connecting sensors , displays , actuators, and communication systems. The board's underside also features JTAG pads, which can be used for application debugging.
