Resistor packs - Resistor (resistor) is the simplest and most popular passive element used in electronic circuits. Putting it in the right place, you can change the current by adjusting them according to the needs of your device. The resistor works linearly the voltage drop directly proportional to the current passing through a resistor. The energy that the resistor stops is given in the form of thermal radiation. Botland store offers sets of resistors are prepared by experienced professionals in the field of electronics.

A resistor is an electronic element that can be used to reduce the current flowing in a circuit. Resistors differ mainly in resistance, size and mounting method (SMD - surface-mounted, or THT - through-hole). Their resistance can be easily increased by simply placing more of them in series in the circuit - the resistance will be equal to the sum of the resistances of the individual components.
The use of resistors
A resistor is an element used in virtually every electronic system. When you open any electronic device with a visible printed circuit board, you can easily find soldered resistors. One of the first tasks for beginner electronics engineers is to select a resistor with the appropriate resistance. taking into account the power supply parameters (for example, a 9V battery) and LEDs. Then, using the breadboard and connecting wires, you can check the correctness of the task - the diode should light up brightly, but it should not heat up and burn out. In order to acquire such skills, you must first know Ohm's law, which states that the current is proportional to the voltage in a conductor. Elements made for THT (through-hole) assembly are particularly useful for this type of learning. Components can be easily mounted on a breadboard and test various solutions without the need for constant re-soldering on printed paths. Elements made in THT technology also work well when creating prototypes of electronic circuits on a breadboard and in devices where miniaturization is not of great importance. In turn, resistors made using SMD technology function better in the final versions of electronic devices (due to a much smaller amount of space).
What we offer?
Often, when creating a design and testing the operation of an electronic circuit, it turns out that there are no resistors with appropriate values. Regardless of whether you are a professional electronics engineer, just learning or treating it as a hobby - it is worth having a supply of resistors with different values. The store offers sets of resistors of a dozen or several dozen different sizes, each of which is available in several dozen pieces - thanks to this, the price per unit is very attractive. Through-hole resistors with a tolerance of 5% and surface resistors (SMD 0805 and SMD 603) are available. The elements are well described, which makes it easier to quickly find the appropriate values.
Resistor sets - FAQ
Resistors are passive electronic elements that help reduce the electrical current flowing through the system. The energy is then released to the surroundings as heat. Detailed information about resistors can be found on our blog .
Resistors are marked with colored stripes. You can learn more from our article " Resistor barcode - how to read it? ".
The simplest resistor can be made, for example, from a piece of graphite from a pencil and fragments of copper wire that will serve as leads.
