It is much more difficult to create systems supporting the learning of mechanics, processing systems or industrial automation. Here, however, Dobot has succeeded in creating a range of devices dedicated to the educational sector, which facilitate the introduction into the arcana of 3D printing, CNC machining or operation of industrial robots.
Simple to assemble and operate 3D printers
In our store you can find a number of 3D printers manufactured by Dobot. These are FDM type 3D printers, i.e. they produce real, multidimensional objects by applying heated thermoplastic material layer by layer. The nozzle responsible for applying the material - the so-called extruder - moves in space. Dobot manufactures a number of different mechanisms for manipulating 3D printheads, using, for example, three orthogonal axes - X, Y and Z - as well as a so-called delta mode. The printheads in 3D printers take material in the form of so-called filament, a narrow "wire" of plastic. Dobot printers are available that can use three spools of filament at a time, allowing for multi-color or multi-material printing.
3D Printer Accessories to Turn Your 3D Printer into a CNC Machine Tool
If the capabilities of a 3D printer alone are not enough for you, Dobot has a range of components that allow you to turn these devices into advanced CNC machine tools. A 3D printer is a device that is used to create objects using additive methods, i.e. adding material to a workpiece. However, typical machine tools use subtractive methods, i.e. methods where material is removed from the workpiece. There are many methods of material removal in CNC systems.
