How do Promtex membrane beacons work?
One of the most important parts of the anti-masking device is the membrane, which is located in the front part of the device. There is also a microswitch mounted near it. In case of a mechanical impact on the membrane, the microswitch is immediately activated. On the other hand, there is a list at the back of the beacon, through which the power supply can be connected. The main task of the hole in the housing is to compress excess pressure that may occur inside the sounder.

The devices intended for measuring the level of loose materials can be used for such materials as milk powder, cereals, flour, sugar, salt, bar, small fish, fodder, cement, gypsum, fine aggregate, gravel, plaster, sawdust, wood dust, PET pellets, fuel pellets and many others. Promtex alarm devices are distinguished by high resistance to difficult working conditions. Their protection level is IP65. They can work in a wide range of operating temperatures from -20 to +50°C and relative humidity from 30 to 90%. The minimum sensitivity of the signaling device is only 50 g. Promtex alarm devices are distinguished by their compact size and relatively low weight of about 400 g. The housing of the device is made of durable ABS plastic.
