Fluke 179 - versatile, high-accuracy electronic multimeter
The Fluke 179 is a multimeter designed by professionals for professionals. It allows you to perform measurements in electronic devices and low-voltage electrical installations (up to 1000 V). This meter is used, among others, in workshop, service and industrial measurements. The manufacturer gives a lifetime warranty for the device. Apart from measuring basic electrical quantities (i.e. voltage, current and resistance), the Fluke 179 meter has a built-in thermometer function, it is equipped with a backlit display, a circuit continuity test with an acoustic signal, capacitor measurement, a semiconductor diode tester and an energy-saving mode.
