Murata is a company whose origins date back to 1944, when Akira Murata founded Murata Manufacturing in Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto-shi at the age of 23. First, the first small 150m2 factory was opened to produce titanium-oxide ceramic capacitors. These were used in heterodyne radios, one of the few entertainments available at the time. With the passing of time and growing needs of the society, the company expanded its assortment with high quality equipment (mainly in the field of electronics). Currently the brand's offer includes, among others, such products as multilayer ceramic capacitors, SAW filters, ceramic resonators, piezoelectric sensors, ceramic filters, piezoelectric buzzers, modules for wireless communication (including Bluetooth), connectors and power supplies of various types, sensors and lithium-ion batteries.
What do we offer in Botland store?
In Botland store you will find various types of battery packs from Murata offer. These are power sources with a voltage of 3 V, packed with five pieces in one package. They differ mainly in size - all are batteries of "pastille" type. The range includes models with designations CR1220, CR1632, CR2032, CR2430. A specific string of characters is used to designate different parameters: the first two letters indicate the composition of the cell, the next two letters are numbers indicating the diameter of the battery in millimeters, and the last two or three characters indicate the height in tenths of millimeters. Using the CR2032 battery as an example: "CR" stands for lithium-manganese dioxide; "20" means that the battery has a diameter of 20. mm while "32" means that the height of the battery is equal to 3.2 mm. This type of power supply is most commonly used in car remote controls, scales, and calculators, for example, which are usually very low current devices. The physical size of the battery also affects its capacity, so the largest "pastilles" (CR2430) offer a capacity of 300 mAh, and the smallest (CR1220) only 40 mAh.
