A fan that keeps filament from softening too early
Creality Heatbreak Fan is a 30 mm axial fan that cools the heatsink above the hotend in the Creality K2, Creality K2 Pro and Creality K2 Plus printers. Thanks to it, the filament softens only in the heating zone and not higher up, which prevents the feeder from clogging.
The fan is marked EFC-03A24L, runs on 24 V at 0.10 A and has a cable with four wires. The manufacturer part number is 4004110136, so you can check it against the old fan.

Hotend 40 mm³/s
The manufacturer states that the hotend of K2 printers melts up to 40 mm³ of filament per second (ABS test at 280 °C). At such a flow rate, the heatsink above the hotend has to be cooled constantly.

Frequently asked questions
What is a heatbreak?
It is a narrow barrier between the heated hotend block and the heatsink. It limits the flow of heat upward, and the fan removes the heat that collects in the heatsink.
How many wires does the fan have?
Four wires ending in a single plug, which you connect in place of the previous fan after unplugging the printer.
