The module is equipped with a 40-pin socket for connection to the GPIO of the Raspberry Pi using a ribbon cable, described GPIO connectors in the form of a male and female goldpin strip, four buttons , three Grove connectors and a buzzer . The set also includes a small breadboard in a random color, a connection tape, a goldpin strip, silicone adhesive feet and a clip.

The Maker Hat Base board is equipped with a 40-pin socket, with which you can connect it directly to the GPIO connector of the Raspberry Pi 400 using the ribbon cable included in the set. The board also has a male goldpin strip with clearly signed Raspberry Pi pins, on the other side of the board there is a female goldpin strip with also signed pins and 26 blue LEDs indicating that the interface is occupied. Maker Hat Base also has four freely programmable buttons, a buzzer and three Grove connectors for connecting modules from this series. Interfaces such as GPIO, UART and I2C are derived from the Grove connectors. The board also has a 3.3 V voltage regulator with increased current efficiency up to 800 mA.
