Product description: 3D scanner - Creality Raptor Pro
The Creality Raptor Pro is a professional, handheld 3D scanner that combines two operating modes : precision laser scanning and non-contact, markerless infrared (NIR) scanning. Thanks to 22 cross-line and 7 parallel blue laser lines, the device allows for fast and accurate scanning of both large and small technical elements. Alternatively, NIR mode enables safe face and body scanning with high accuracy and the capture of realistic textures. The Raptor Pro offers speeds of up to 660,000 measurements per second in laser mode and as many as 3.58 million measurements per second in NIR mode , ensuring smooth workflow even with complex objects. Accuracy reaches 0.02 mm , and volumetric accuracy is 0.02 mm + 0.08 mm/m. The scanner handles a wide range of object sizes, from 5 mm to 4000 mm . Thanks to its high resistance to ambient light, it does not require the use of spray when scanning black or metallic surfaces. The built-in RGB camera enables full-color scanning with 24-bit color depth , while One-Shot 3D Imaging technology and an IMU sensor ensure stable and precise scanning on the go . The scanner is lightweight (405g), ergonomic, compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS , and can be expanded with the optional Scan Bridge module, allowing it to operate wirelessly.
Hybrid scanning system - blue laser and NIR
The Creality Raptor Pro utilizes advanced technology combining two light sources: blue laser lines (22 cross-shaped and 7 parallel) and structured infrared (NIR) light . You can switch between modes depending on the object being scanned—lasers for technical details and large-scale objects, and NIR for scanning bodies, faces, and irregularly shaped objects. This design allows for maximum application flexibility while maintaining high accuracy.
Precision, speed and measurement efficiency
In laser mode, the Raptor Pro reaches speeds of up to 660,000 points/s at 60 fps , significantly accelerating the digitization process of large components. Accuracy is up to 0.02 mm , and volumetric accuracy is 0.02 mm + 0.08 mm/m , making the device competitive with industrial metrology scanners. In NIR mode, the scanner reaches 30 fps and as many as 3.58 million measurements per second —ideal for scanning people and organic objects.
Full-color scanning and environmental resistance
The Raptor Pro enables full-color 24-bit scanning thanks to its built-in high-resolution RGB camera. Scanned textures are precisely mapped onto a 3D mesh, resulting in highly realistic results. Thanks to its high ambient light tolerance (up to 100,000 lux for laser and 30,000 lux for NIR), it also performs well outdoors —even on black and metallic surfaces without the need for sprays.
Stabilization, ergonomics and work mobility
Thanks to One-Shot Imaging technology and a built-in IMU module, the scanner offers stable and smooth scanning even in handheld mode. Its compact design and low weight (only 405 g) enable fatigue-free operation for extended periods. The scanner features an illuminated LED ring, a non-slip grip, and a lanyard option —an ideal solution for both mobile specialists and measurement laboratories.
Dedicated Face & Body mode - quick character scanning
In NIR mode, Raptor Pro offers a special algorithm for body and face scanning, enabling the acquisition of a complete human model in approximately two minutes . The scanner captures even difficult areas, such as hair or porous skin. Thanks to the Class 1 (eye-safe) laser, human scanning is completely safe and can be used in medicine, custom clothing, VR, and computer games.
Software, Connectivity and Compatibility
Raptor Pro works with professional CrealityScan software, which offers features such as geometry and marker alignment, mesh editing, and export to OBJ, STL, and PLY files. The scanner can operate both wired (USB Type-C) and wirelessly with the optional Scan Bridge module (WiFi 6). It is compatible with Windows 10/11, macOS (M1/M2/M3), Android, and iOS , allowing for convenient work both in the office and in the field.
