Product description: 3D scanner - Revopoint POP 4 - Premium Edition
The Revopoint POP 4 is a hybrid 3D scanner for small to medium-sized objects , suitable for both handheld and stationary use . It combines 30 blue cross lines, a single laser line for deep hole mapping, and full-field structured light and VCSEL technology , offering 5 scan modes . It delivers single-frame accuracy down to 0.03 mm , volumetric accuracy of 0.03 mm + 0.05 mm x L, and a capture speed of up to 105 fps . The working distance is from 200 mm to 800 mm , and the supported range covers objects with volumes from 10 x 10 x 10 mm to 2 x 2 x 2 m . The scanner captures geometry with color, utilizes AI- powered object segmentation, and is suitable for outdoor use in ambient light up to 100,000 lux . The compact housing, measuring 160 x 30 x 72 mm and weighing 286 g, facilitates the mobile digitization of technical parts, models, characters, and components intended for 3D printing and reverse engineering. The Premium version also includes a 5500 mAh battery holder that provides approximately 4 hours of operation, a carrying case , and a filter that allows the blue laser to be used in intense ambient light.

The scanner supports 5 modes - fast 30 blue cross lines mode, single line mode for deep holes, Full-Field HD, VCSEL Rapid and Hybrid HD.
3D scanning technology and five operating modes
The Revopoint POP 4 combines 30 blue cross lines, a single laser line, a full-field near-infrared structured light, and a VCSEL projector . High Speed mode is designed for fast scanning of technical parts, including those with dark or shiny surfaces, while the single line makes it easier to reach deep holes and narrow crevices. Full-Field HD allows for efficient capture of people and objects with rich geometry, while VCSEL Rapid increases the workspace and facilitates work in bright light. Hybrid HD combines the advantages of full-field structured light and VCSEL, ensuring rapid acquisition of a dense point cloud. In laser modes, markers should be used to enable stable tracking of the scanner's position. In structured light modes, markers are not necessary for objects with distinct and varied geometric features . For surfaces without feature features, markers can improve the stability of stitching subsequent frames.
Measurement precision, speed and scanning range
Single-frame accuracy is up to 0.03 mm in line laser mode, up to 0.08 mm in full-field mode, and up to 0.1 mm or 0.2 mm in VCSEL mode, depending on the working distance. Volumetric accuracy in multi-line mode is defined by the formula 0.03 mm + 0.05 mm x L , where L is the object length in meters. Laser scanning can be performed at up to 105 fps with NVIDIA acceleration, or up to 60 fps when computed by the CPU. Working distances range from 200 mm to 400 mm for laser, 250 mm to 500 mm for Full-Field HD and Hybrid HD modes, and 300 mm to 800 mm for VCSEL. The scanner supports object volumes from 10 x 10 x 10 mm to 2 x 2 x 2 m . At 200 mm, the single capture area is 131 x 134 mm. In VCSEL mode, at 800 mm, this can increase to 505 x 538 mm, facilitating the digitization of larger surfaces.
Color scanning, outdoor operation and power
A 1.3 MP RGB camera and two white LEDs capture object geometry, along with their colors and textures. 3D Gaussian Splatting technology also enables more accurate representation of how light interacts with surfaces, making it easier to digitize hair, fabrics, reflections, and semi-transparent materials. Data can be exported directly in Splat format. VCSEL mode enables stable outdoor scanning at ambient light levels up to 100,000 lux , while multi-line laser mode supports conditions up to 50,000 lux as standard. The included filter allows the blue laser to be used even in ambient light levels up to 100,000 lux. The scanner does not have a built-in battery, but the Premium Edition includes a 5500 mAh battery holder , which provides approximately 4 hours of mobile operation without the need for a constant connection to an external power source.
Wireless connectivity and Revo Scan 6 software
The Revopoint POP 4 Premium Edition supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 4.1, and a wired USB 3.0 Type-C connection . The included battery holder powers the scanner during wireless operation and provides approximately 4 hours of mobile scanning, reducing the need for constant connection to an external power source. Full-Field and VCSEL modes can be operated directly from a compatible mobile device , while multi-line laser scanning requires a WiFi connection to a computer and its processing power. The free Revo Scan 6 software allows you to capture point clouds, stitch and clean up scans, smooth surfaces, and export finished models. The program supports PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, 3MF, GLTF, FBX, and Splat formats, making the data suitable for use in CAD environments, graphics programs, and 3D printing slicers. The manufacturer's ecosystem also includes separately sold Revo Design tools for reverse engineering and scan-to-CAD conversion, and Revo Measure for dimensional inspection and comparison of scans with reference models.
