Cytron Maker Mini Sumo - robot controller
The mini sumo robot controller is compatible with Arduino Nano/Uno because it is based on the ATmega328P microcontroller and can be programmed using Arduino IDE. The module is powered from 7 V to 18 V DC, the power input has reverse polarity protection. The cover allows to supply two DC motors working with voltage from 7 to 18 V with current consumption up to 6 A.

The board is equipped with screw connections, which reduces the risk that one of the wires may fall out due to an impact. The board has 5 digital inputs to connect distance sensors, 2 analogue inputs to connect the Dohyo overrun sensors and a digital inputtowake up the controller. Additionally, the board has an output for servo and 2 general purpose I/O ports, which can be used both as an analogue input and digital input/output.

Support for RC mode - Cytron Mini Sumo Maker - robot controller
The module supports the possibility of remote control by means ofRCequipment.To do this, connect the receiver to the additional pins on the board, this ensures full control over the robot's movements. The manufacturer has prepared a sample code for control. The receiver and the control equipment must be purchased separately.
Troubleshooting problems with the Cytron Mini Sumo Maker Robot Controller
The controller is designed for quick fault diagnosis and configuration, thanks to the built-in buttons it is possible to test the connection of motors without the need to write a code. Built-in LEDs and a potentiometer allow for a very simple adjustment of the sensor range.
The board has a programmable piezo buzzer.
