PMMA is a highly transparent thermoplastic material obtained by polymerisation of methyl methacrylate. Due to its transparency, aesthetics and scratch resistance it can be used as a substitute for glass. It is commonly called acrylic glass, Plexiglas.
The product is intended as a material for cutting or engraving with the use of CNC milling machine or laser.

The practical use of cast Plexiglas
The product is intended for engraving as an accessory for Snapmaker 3D printers with a laser module. Engraving on the plate is easy due to its suitably smooth surface. The engraved design can be used in various industrial fields, advertising, souvenirs or gadgets. Cast Plexiglas has better mechanical properties than extruded Plexiglas as it has higher scratch resistance, higher resistance to chemical cleaning and increased strength.
