The BleBox co2Sensor is a smart sensor with WiFi connectivity designed to monitor carbon dioxide levels in indoor spaces. Push notifications , wireless communication, and integration with the wBox app allow users to check the status of measurements, both in real time and historically using archived data. Interactive charts are available for up to 12 months , and can be exported in either ".csv" or ".xlsx" (Excel) formats. The device is powered by a 5V USB-C port, and the sensor features a soft backlight that, depending on the current color (from green to red-purple), informs about the current air quality level. The BleBox co2Sensor offers direct, local, and remote communication, and thanks to the free cloud and wBox app, access to all data is extremely simple and accessible to multiple users.

An example of its use is the creation of a smart air quality monitoring station by combining the BleBox co2Sensor with the BleBox airSensor smog sensor. This solution can prove very useful in monitoring the effectiveness of natural ventilation and heat recovery systems. Thanks to the recorded carbon dioxide concentration measurements, The device determines the ventilation efficiency level, and the wBox app presents a detailed description of the possible effects of increased carbon dioxide concentration in the environment. Using the collected data, the user can determine whether air exchange is occurring properly and whether the room is receiving an adequate amount of fresh air, thus ensuring the health and well-being of its occupants.
