The device supports up to 16 drives equipped with 230 V AC and 30 V DC motors, enabling automatic raising and lowering of roller shutters, blinds, and awnings. Integration with Home Assistant and ESPHome enables the creation of intelligent operating scenarios that can be adjusted to the time of day, occupant presence, or weather conditions. The controller is based on the powerful ESP32 microcontroller , which ensures stable communication and extensive configuration options. Also noteworthy are the available Modbus RS485, I2C, 1-Wire, and CAN communication interfaces , which are ready for use in future software versions. These interfaces expand the controller's integration capabilities with additional sensors, measurement modules, and other building automation components, making the boneIO ESP Cover a part of an extensive Smart Home system .
