If you are going to use or purchase consumer electronics, then Sharp would be at the forefront of the offerings to choose from. Sharp was founded in 1912 in Japan, and as everyone knows, Japanese products are sturdy, made of the highest quality materials, and are some of the most innovative in the world. The company's name itself comes from the founder's first invention, the Ever-Sharp mechanical pencil," which means an always-sharp pencil. The manufacturer is known for its unique solutions and products in the field of electronics, e.g. the world's first electronic LCD calculator. This is quite an achievement and shows how creative minds work to create things and tools to make the lives of consumers easier. Sharp's philosophy is that their prosperity is directly linked to and dependent on the prosperity of their customers, employees and shareholders - the entire Sharp family.
