Universal enclosures - why use them

This type of enclosures, as its name suggests, are universal, which means that they will fit - usually after some adaptation - to a large number of elements that we want to install inside. Universal enclosures produced by Maszczyk are often equipped with elements supporting the assembly of printed circuit boards inside, such as special holders or brackets. The adaptation of a universal case to a given project usually consists in drilling holes for connectors, switches, displays etc., which a given device is equipped with. Using universal enclosures has many advantages, especially in hobbyist projects. These housings are aesthetic and durable; the user only chooses the shape and size he or she wants - there is no need to have an extensive machine park to construct the housing by oneself. In the case of small batch production of electronic devices, the use of such enclosures is also cheaper than investing in the production of enclosures, e.g. in plastic injection technology.

Durable enclosures through the use of high quality materials

Universal enclosures produced by Maszczyk are made of poly (acrylonitrile-co-butadiene-co-styrene), more widely known as ABS. The same plastic is used for bumpers and other car elements. It is characterized by high impact strength, hardness and scratch resistance. In addition, ABS has a high level of electrical insulation and resistance to chemicals to which the housing of an electronic device can be exposed. It is also resistant to elevated temperatures (up to 85 degrees Celsius) in accordance with the temperature range in which such systems typically operate.
