FNIRSI LPM-10A: network cable tester and tracker
FNIRSI LPM-10A is a network cable tester with a 2.4" colour screen that finds cables in a bundle, measures their length and checks the crimping quality of RJ45 plugs. In normal or anti-interference mode, the probe locates a single network or telephone cable even in a crowded server rack, and you can adjust the probe sensitivity to the working conditions.
The wiremap test detects open circuits, shorts and crossed wires, and the crimping test shows faults on each of the 8 pins of an RJ45 plug. The tester also detects PoE, power delivered to devices over the network cable, and shows its standard, mode and voltage level.

Frequently asked questions
Will it check PoE for a camera?
Yes, the tester detects standard and non-standard PoE in end-span and mid-span mode. The screen shows the supply mode, standard and power level, so you can check whether the switch or PoE injector powers the camera.
How accurately does the LPM-10A measure cable length?
The accuracy depends on the cable length: up to 20 m it is ±1.6 m, from 20 m to 100 m it is ±2.4 m, and above 100 m ±3.2 m. You start the measurement with one button, and the tester also shows the distance to the fault location.
Will the tester find a telephone cable?
Yes, the probe traces network and telephone cables. For telephone cables use the RJ45 to RJ11 adapter, and for single wires the alligator clip cable from the package.
