Raspberry Pi is an original computer platform created by the British Foundation. The main goal of the creators of the platform was to popularize computer science in schools and in developing countries. Raspberry Pi is a platform the size of a credit card with a Linux system installed. Despite its small size, it can perform the same tasks as a desktop computer.
So far several generations of Raspberry Pi have been released. The first one was launched in February 2012 in the basic model A and in the more extended model B. Models A+ and B+ were launched a year later. Raberry Pi 2 model B was released in February 2015 and Raspberry Pi 3 model 3 in February 2016. In June 2019 the 4th edition of the minicomputer was released.
