FNIRSI HS-02A: USB Type-C soldering iron up to 100 W
FNIRSI HS-02A is a portable digital soldering iron with up to 100 W, powered via USB Type-C with the PD or QC protocol or from a 9 V to 20 V DC power supply. You set the temperature from 100 °C to 450 °C with the buttons and read it on the 0.96" IPS colour screen, and the iron adjusts the heating power to the conditions on its own for efficiency and safety.
The tip and heater form a single unit, so the iron heats up quickly and keeps a stable temperature. You switch between three stored temperatures with one button, and the sleep, automatic power-off and button lock protect the tip and the settings. The CNC-machined aluminium housing has a silicone anti-slip grip and a cap that protects against burns.

The iron controls its temperature with a PID algorithm: it constantly compares the measured tip temperature with the set value and adjusts the heating power. The maker states an accuracy of ±2%.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the FNIRSI HS-02A and HS-02B?
Both soldering irons offer up to 100 W, a range of 100 °C to 450 °C and a 0.96" IPS screen. They differ in tips and colour: the HS-02A supports I, JS, K, KU, B and C2 tips, while the HS-02B uses I, IS and K tips in a black housing.
Which power supply can I use?
The box includes a USB Type-C PD wall charger with an EU plug. The iron supports USB Type-C power supplies with the PD or QC protocol and 9 V to 20 V DC power supplies connected through the DC to USB Type-C adapter. The heating power depends on the power supply, and you get the full 100 W with a 100 W USB Type-C PD power supply.
How can I change the soldering temperature quickly?
The soldering iron stores three temperatures that you switch with the buttons without setting the value again. This lets you move quickly from soldering small SMD components to thicker wires and larger solder pads.
