The Argon ONE UP CM5 Laptop Shell is a complete laptop enclosure designed for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5. This design allows you to build an open ARM laptop for creators, students, developers, educators, and users developing projects based on the Raspberry Pi ecosystem. The device features a 14-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 px and a refresh rate of 60 Hz , a full aluminum chassis, a backlit keyboard, a built-in fan, and a 55 Wh Li-Polymer battery.
The Shell laptop is equipped with an M.2 Key-M slot for an NVMe SSD , WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, an HDMI 2.0 port, a 2MP 1080p front-facing camera, dual microphones, and stereo speakers. The kit also includes the Argon ONE UP 40-pin GPIO Module , which allows access to the Raspberry Pi CM5's GPIO interface through modified USB Type-C ports. The design supports CM5-compatible systems, including Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, and Debian-based distributions.
The kit does not include a Raspberry Pi CM5 module, M.2 NVMe drive, or 45W power supply. These items must be purchased separately, according to project requirements.
