Product description: Audio extension + 2x 5W speaker for Raspberry Pi Pico - Waveshare 20167
The module, made by Waveshare, allows you to extend the capabilities Raspberry Pi Pico with audio output. The included module, in the form of an overlay for the RPi Pico, is based on the PCM5101A chip and is equipped with a connector for connecting speakers, a mini jack connector for connecting headphones and a potentiometer for volume control. The kit also comes with two 5W speakers with 8 ohm impedance.
The manufacturer has prepared a guide for Raspberry Pi Pico users, which includes a user manual and sample programs in C language.
The module comes with a socket to directly plug in the Raspberry Pi Pico, the RPi Pico is not included in the kit, it can be purchased separately.
