Product description: Uni-T UT12D-EU non-contact voltage tester
A device that allows you tosafelydetect voltage. These types of indicators are commonly used in work related to repair or maintenance of cables, sockets and other electrical and electronic equipment. The meter allows the detection of AC voltage in the rangefrom 24 V to 1000 V. The tester is able to detect voltage in wires running under the plaster. This is a veryuseful functionduring repair work, when we have to drill a hole in the wall where there may be such wires. The detection of voltage is indicated by a built-inbuzzerand flashingLEDs.
Key product features
The meter can work in two modes. The first is a low-voltage mode, which is used for measurements of devices such as low-voltage motors (below 90 V), audio systems, arc welders, mining lighting and cables with a thick insulation layer. The second is a high voltage mode, which is used for measurements of, among others, three-phase systems (from 90 V to 1000 V), electrical panels, power distribution units or electrical equipment working with high voltage. The unit is powered by twoAAA batteriesand is equipped with an auto-off function. A bonus feature of theUT12D-EUis its flash lamp, which allows measurements to be taken freely in low-light conditions. Thanks to its robust housing the unit is resistant to damage caused by falls from a height of approximately1m.
