Product description: Fiberlogy ASA filament 1.75 mm 1 kg - White
ASA filament ( acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) from Fiberlogy . ASA material is characterized by ease of printing and color stability . The filament has excellent mechanical strength and resistance to high temperatures and humidity. The weight of the material wound on a spool is 1 kg . The filament is available in white .
Properties of Fiberlogy ASA filament
- High mechanical strength, which makes it suitable for printing sports protectors and electronic circuit housings, among others.
- Resistance to ultraviolet radiation (UV)
- Relatively low emission of unpleasant odors during printing
- Significantly less shrinkage than ABS, eliminating the need for a heated print chamber. Increased adhesion prevents the model from "curling"
- High color durability
- Resistance to temperatures up to 94 °C
- ASA prints can be smoothed and glued with acetone. The finished model can also be sanded and painted.
Printing Tips
- Printing with ASA filament does not require a closed build chamber
- The manufacturer suggests setting the airflow value to: up to 25%
- Flowrate parameter value: from 90% to 100%
- Base type: glass, kapton tape
- Retraction settings:
- for Direct extruders: 1 to 2 mm
- for Bowden extruders: 4 to 6 mm
- Suggested retraction speed: 20 to 45 m/s
- When printing in a chamber that is not heated, it is recommended to avoid drafts and sudden gusts of air directed at the printed model
- Retraction: 2 mm to 3 mm

Our range of filaments also includes other materials and colors.

Fiberlogy ASA filament 1.75 mm 1 kg - White
Fiberlogy's ASA filaments are recommended for beginner 3D printer users, as printing with this thermoplastic material is easy. Furthermore, it is fully compatible with FFF/FDM devices.
ASA filaments bearing the Fiberlogy logo can be used in all printers that are not equipped with a special blocking mechanism designed to prevent the use of universal thermoplastics. According to the manufacturer, the Charpy impact strength (notched) (23℃) is 18 kJ/m².
What else is worth knowing about Fiberlogy ASA filament?
The main parameters are as follows: specific gravity reaches 1.07 g/cm³. Maximum moisture absorption over 24 hours, according to the manufacturer, is 0.2%. The melting point (glass transition temperature) reaches 100℃.
Fiberlogy ASA 1.75mm filament begins to soften at 94℃, and its heat deflection temperature under 0.45MPa and 1.8MPa is 92℃ and 86℃, respectively. The material exhibits tensile strength up to 45MPa, with a maximum elongation of 5%. Elongation at break is 30% (based on the ISO 527 test method).
Filaments are hygroscopic (they absorb moisture), so breaching the airtight vacuum packaging permanently reduces the quality and value of the product. Therefore, if you return an unpacked item, your refund amount will be reduced proportionally. Returns resulting from manufacturing defects (e.g., damaged or cut filament) are an exception. Please carefully verify the color and material type on the label before opening the packaging.
