ASA filament is characterized by high durability, ease of printing , and color stability . It is widely used in automotive, electronics, and everyday printing applications. The material does not require a heated chamber to ensure successful printing. ASA can be treated with acetone, making the printed layers invisible. The material is sandable and paintable. The product is gray and pre-wound on a spool. Net weight: 1 kg .

Properties of Fiberlogy ASA filament
- Versatile use thanks to high print durability
- Used for printing sports accessories, interior design elements, as well as car and motorcycle parts.
- Resistant to the effects of ultraviolet UV radiation
- Compared to other types of filaments, ASA material does not emit such an unpleasant odor as the others
- It has significantly less shrinkage than ABS, eliminating the need for a heated print chamber. Increased adhesion prevents the model from "curling."
- It is characterized by very high color durability
- Resistant to high temperatures, up to 94 °C
- Models printed from ASA filament can be smoothed, sanded, painted or glued.
Printing Tips
- Printing with ASA filament does not require the use of a closed build chamber
- Suggested airflow values: up to 25%
- Flowrate parameter value: from 90% to 100%
- Base type: glass, kapton tape
- Retraction settings:
- for Direct extruders: 1 to 2 mm
- for Bowden extruders: 4 to 6 mm
- Suggested retraction speed: 20 to 45 m/s
- When printing in a chamber that is not heated, it is recommended to avoid drafts and sudden gusts of air

Filaments are hygroscopic (they absorb moisture), so breaching the airtight vacuum packaging permanently reduces the quality and value of the product.
