Devil Design PETG Startpack is a set of six spools of 1.75 mm PETG filament in different colors, with 0.33 kg of material on each spool. The manufacturer prepared it for people who are starting 3D printing and want to try PETG in several colors. Who is the 6-spool set for?
The manufacturer prepared the set with people who are starting 3D printing in mind. Six colors of 0.33 kg each let you try PETG in different projects without buying full spools.
What print temperature for PETG?
The manufacturer recommends a nozzle temperature of 220 °C to 250 °C and a bed heated to 70 °C to 80 °C. You can find the best settings for your printer with a short test print.
How does PETG differ from PLA?
PETG is more flexible and impact-resistant than PLA, which is brittle and shatters on impact. PETG prints also withstand higher temperatures: the manufacturer states a glass transition temperature of 80 °C, while PLA softens above 60 °C. You print PETG at a higher nozzle temperature and on a bed heated to 70 °C to 80 °C.
Do the 0.33 kg spools fit the AMS?
Not directly, because the spools in this set have different dimensions than standard 1 kg spools. You can print an AMS adapter yourself, a ready model is available on MakerWorld (link in the Useful links section).

30 days to return, without giving a reason
