Product description: Mini Analog Thumbstick - Analog Joystick - Adafruit 5628
A compact mini Joystick manufactured by Adafruit . It is a simple control device in the form of a knob with which you can move in two axes - X and Y , it can also be used as an electric button (Z axis). Two built-in 10 kOhm potentiometers are responsible for the up / down and left / right movements. What's more, the Mini Analog Thumbstick has a self-centering function - when you release the stick, it will return to its original place. Information about the position of the knob is transmitted via an analog signal in which the voltage corresponds to the given position.
