Jetson Orin NX 16 GB ready to work right out of the box
reComputer Super J401 NX Bundle is a developer kit with a Jetson Orin NX 16 GB module, a power supply, a WiFi module with antennas and a 256 GB drive with the system. The module delivers up to 157 TOPS, or 157 trillion AI operations per second, in MAXN Super mode, which is unlocked by the preinstalled JetPack 6.2 (NVIDIA's system and AI library package).
It is the open reComputer Super J401 board with a heatsink and fan, without a case, the same one that runs the reComputer Super J4012. It has 2 Ethernet 1 Gb/s ports, 4 USB 3.2 ports, HDMI 2.1, 4 MIPI CSI connectors, the ribbon-cable camera connectors, a 40-pin connector and a mini-PCIe slot for an LTE 4G modem.

What sets this model apart
Power supply, WiFi and a 256 GB drive in the box with the Orin NX board
The set includes everything you need for the first start: a 19 V power supply with three mains cables, a WiFi and Bluetooth module with antennas and a drive with the system. Keep in mind that the board has no case, so for work in a workshop, in a vehicle or in a dusty place a computer in an aluminum case is a better fit.

A board for your own case and many cameras
With up to 4 MIPI CSI or USB cameras you can build a surround view of a robot or vehicle, and the module processes several video streams at once. The 40-pin connector gives access to GPIO, programmable digital inputs and outputs, and the CAN connector with TTL/CMOS logic levels connects to motor controllers once you add a transceiver, a chip that adapts the signal to a standard bus.
The board measures 113.2 x 109 x 67 mm and sits on five copper standoffs from the set, so it is easy to mount in your own enclosure or device. It operates at temperatures from -20 °C to 50 °C in 40 W mode, and power modes from 10 W to 40 W let you match performance to your power supply.
Is it the right choice for you?

Frequently asked questions
Does the board have a case?
No. It is an open board with a heatsink and fan that you place on the copper standoffs from the set. The same board in an aluminum case is used by the reComputer Super J4012.
How many cameras can I connect?
The board has 4 MIPI CSI connectors (2 lanes, 15-pin), and the manufacturer also provides for working with 4 USB cameras, e.g. for a surround view of a robot.
Can I add an LTE modem?
Yes. The mini-PCIe slot takes a 4G LTE module, and the board has a SIM card slot. The LTE module is not included.
Can I connect the CAN connector directly to a CAN bus?
No. The CAN connector outputs signals at TTL/CMOS levels, so a standard CAN bus needs an external transceiver. The board supports CAN FD frames.
Can I upgrade the drive?
Yes. You can replace the NVMe M.2 2280 drive in the M.2 Key M slot with a larger one, and the manufacturer lists tested drives for the series from 128 GB to 2 TB. After replacing it you need to install the system from a JetPack image from the manufacturer's wiki.
