Very good product. You no longer have to worry about buying a good quality HDMI-to-microHDMI cable. This always blocked me when playing 4k60Hz. A great option to expand with an NVMe drive support module. The only thing I would complain about is the lack of support for the 3.5 mm jack connector, without buying an additional Argon BLSTR DAC sound card, and thermopads, which are too small for the main CPU. I recommend buying your own (1 mm thick).

🚀❤️ I recommend great equipment with a drive tray, the raspberrka works like an arrow!

Nice thing, half is made of black aluminum (and you can feel how it dissipates heat), and the other half is made of black (a bit transparent) plastic. The NVME drive cover is aluminum (black aluminum).

It just works great with a five in retrogaming. "Yes, warm, but not at all so" - as Rudi sings with Wały Jagiellońskie. Warm, but quiet. She goes to warm up her bed on cold nights. Fortunately, without third-degree burns. :-)

A hint for installing the "fresh" RPi 5 in this case and wanting to have an M2 system: Installation is not trivial. The easiest way is to first install the system on the SD card and in the second step do the migration to M2. Put the image on the SD card with an imager, run it and configure, update, install the drivers from the manual for this case. Only after that, mount it in the case, but do not close it - later you will be able to remove the SD card. In RPi OS, in Accessories, there is a tool to migrate the system to M2. Then run 'raspi-config' from under the console, where in "Advanced Options" change the boot order to M2 first. After that, you can remove the card and screw the case together.

fast delivery great quality Easy installation Works flawlessly with Argon BLSTR DAC Sound Card with Ground Loop Isolator for Argon One V3 KIOXIA EXCERIA SSD 500GB M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3 NVMe The only point of criticism: The screws of the cover for the SSD were tightened very tightly.

The Argon One V3 NVMe case for RPI 5 is excellent. However, care must be taken to ensure that the add-on board is correctly plugged into USB-C and Micro-HDMI. Delivery via Botland was very fast, excellent service.

The casing as a heat sink does its job - it dissipates heat efficiently. Easy access to GPIO and NVME are the most important advantages of this case. Solid workmanship. 🚀 This is my first case that contains firmware that can be updated 😎
Yavor 13.05.2024 Confirmed purchase
The case is great. Be careful when choosing an ssd, since not all drives are supported.

perfectly crafted case with almost everything included! Accessories include the Argon BLSTR DAC💯

Good cooling performance, Assembly somewhat impractical. The first time (despite the note) the USB C connector was not seated correctly, so it did not turn on. But ultimately it works very well. I still find the price quite high for a case. The M.2 SSD can be easily mounted on the underside.

Very good execution!
Zbigniew 30.04.2024 Confirmed purchase Translated review
Very nicely made. Aesthetic appearance. Trouble-free assembly, although connecting the delicate PCIe tape requires delicacy and precision. The downsides are that it is quite expensive and achieving full functionality (power switch, fan speed control) requires the installation of additional software, available only on the official Raspberry PI OS. In the case of other operating systems (e.g., LibreELEC), at this moment (May 2024) these additional functionalities are not yet officially available.

Perfect case? It has everything necessary: NVMe slot, two full-size HDMI, very convenient access to GPIO. It also has a few extra things that might come in handy for someone, like an IR receiver or a DAC output (note: supports only its own Argon DAC). The cooling capabilities are impressive, with temperatures significantly more than 10 degrees lower than the official case under stress, while the fan, even at 100% rpm, is completely silent (those who have the official case know very well how its fan operates just seconds after starting the stress test ;)). In a word, I recommend.
