What is new in Raspberry Pi 3 B+?
|Processor BCM2837B0||The Broadcom chipset BCM2837B0 with 64-bit core Quad-core ARM-8 Cortex-A53 CPU running at 1.4 GHz provides more power than previous models of the Raspberry Pi|
|Wi-Fi Dual Band||New, integrated wi-fi Dual Band, 802.11 b/g/n/ac operates in the 2.4 GHz band and 5 GHz, what delivers higher data transmission rate.|
|PoE Power Supply||The possibility of power over Ethernet with the optional pad - pad from HAT type will be available soon.|
|Form and connectors||
The distribution of elements and the board outline remain unchanged. This means that enclosures and accessories for the version of the Pi 3 will be compatible with Raspberry Pi 3+.
The picture and sound
Raspberry Pi has HDMI version 1.4, through which you can send both picture and sound. In addition, the tile was equipped with a 4-pin Jack 3.5 mm to which you can connect headphones, speakers or display video through a standard RCA Composite. The device supports H. 264 compression format (1080p30) and graphics OpenGL ES 1.1 and 2.0.

Raspberry drive is a microSD memory card. The operating system can be uploaded via the computer with the reader. In our store there are available cards with the installed NOOBs software which with first activation enables choosing from the systems: Raspbian, Openelec, RaspBMC, OSMC the Linux. The user can also independently install Windows 10 IoT.

System installation and launch of the Raspberry Pi.
Raspberry has the main communication interfaces, which can be found in office computers of PC class. In addition to the previously listed connectors audio and video the user has at his disposal:
- four of the USB connector, to which you can connect, for example, a mouse, a keyboard, a wi-fi card or USB flash drive. If you find that the slots are too short, you can increase their number using an external USB HUB.
- Ethernet connector, that is the ability to directly connect to the LOCAL network
- the wi-fi module allows to connect to the wireless network of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, 802.11 b/g/n/ac - the latest system Raspbian / NOOBs has built-in drivers
- Bluetooth 4.2 provides data transfer through the interface
- GPIO - outputs/inputs with general purpose that can be used to control the LEDs, buttons, drivers of engines. Among them are the contacts, supports interfaces: I2C, SPI and UART.
ThingSpeak platform for Arduino and Raspberry Pi IoT.
As a power source, the system uses the microUSB connector. The manufacturer recommends that the voltage indicated on the plug had a value of 5 V, and maximum current output of the used power supply shall not be less than 2.5 A. In our assortment there are special power supply units.
