The RP2350A is an advanced microcontroller from the RP235x series, which debuted in August 2024 on the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 board and has since been widely used in both Raspberry Pi and third-party partner projects. Compared to its predecessor, the RP2040 , it offers a significant increase in performance thanks to the use of two Arm Cortex M33 cores , providing greater computing power and better energy efficiency. Additionally, the system is equipped with two RISC-V Hazard3 cores , which enable more efficient parallel processing. The system clock has been increased to 150 MHz , and the amount of RAM is 520 KB , which is more than twice the value available in the RP2040. The microcontroller also has 8 KB of OTP memory and an advanced security system based on Arm TrustZone technology , which allows for isolated data processing. An additional PIO core allows for programming non-standard peripheral interfaces. Thanks to these features, the RP2350A is perfect for both simple hobby projects and demanding industrial applications that need high computing power and low power consumption.
