The Shelly Dimmer Gen3 is a single-channel controller that offers two ways to control lighting: locally (using traditional buttons ) and remotely (via Wi-Fi and Smart Home automation). The controller supports schedules, night mode, MQTT, scripts, and integration with Google Home, Alexa, and Home Assistant . It is equipped with a temperature sensor, a Wi-Fi repeater, and a BLE gateway , which also extends the range of other devices in the Shelly ecosystem. With a smooth transition and defined minimum/maximum brightness, users can precisely adjust lighting conditions. Support for up to 20 schedules and 20 webhooks, as well as the ability to trigger local scenes and scripts, makes it an exceptionally versatile home automation component. The Dimmer Gen3 does not require a neutral wire connection , making it ideal for retrofitting existing installations.
At loads below 20 W, a bypass is necessary.
