Shelly Dimmer Gen4 is a single-channel smart lighting dimmer that supports WiFi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and Matter . It allows remote brightness control, scheduling and automation, and compatibility with popular smart home systems. It can work with or without a neutral wire, and its compact size allows for installation in a junction box behind an existing switch.

The Shelly Dimmer Gen4 allows you to conveniently control dimmable lighting via an app, web interface, home automation system, or traditional buttons and switches. WiFi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and Matter support facilitate integration with various smart home systems, including Home Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit, and Samsung SmartThings . The controller allows you to adjust the minimum and maximum brightness levels, dimming speed, and transition time for turning the lights on and off. Night mode, schedules, scripts, and local actions further enable you to tailor lighting to your daily needs.
Note: When operating without a neutral wire, at loads below 20 W , a Shelly Bypass is required.

It can control lights in the living room, bedroom, hallway, children's room, or office space, allowing you to adjust the brightness to the time of day and your current needs. Schedules and night mode allow you to automatically dim the brightness in the evening, while integration with a motion sensor allows you to automatically turn on lights in hallways, closets, garages, and stairwells. Support for Matter, ZigBee, MQTT, and KNXnet/IP means the module can also be part of more complex home and building automation installations.
The light dimmer supports WiFi, Bluetooth and ZigBee connectivity.
Shelly Dimmer Gen4 does not require a neutral wire connection, but a bypass is necessary for loads below 20 W.
