Raspberry Pi 4B is the latest version of the most popular single-board computer in the world. A powerful processor, built-in wireless connectivity and extensive connectors and interfaces are one of its biggest advantages. Interestingly, you can use Pi 4B not only in the form of a desktop computer or controller of various physical processes but also as a multimedia entertainment centre. The Broadcom BCM2711 SoC chip has a built-in Broadcom VideoCore VI graphics processor in addition to the CPU. Thanks to this Rasberry Pi 4B can play and record movies and photos in very high quality, with support for such formats as 4K, HD 1080p, as well as OpenGL ES 2.0. On the PCB of the Raspberry Pi 4B minicomputer, there are two micro HDMI sockets with which you can connect two LCD monitors. Video transfer can also be accomplished using the 4-pin TRRS jack analogue connector. The Botland store offer includes all kinds of widely used audio and video cables. By using those cables, you can quickly and easily connect your Raspberry Pi to the TV or a computer monitor.

HDMI interface - amazing sound and video quality in a digital way
The HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) interface enables transmission of audio and video encoded losslessly in digital format. An important advantage is a fact that video and audio transmission using the HDMI interface is carried out via a single cable. For nearly 20 years, the HDMI interface has been widely used in consumer electronics devices such as PCs, game consoles, TV sets, home theatres and multimedia players. Data transmission via HDMI is performed by using the TMDS (Transition Minimized Differential Signaling) technology, which in the process of complex coding, effectively protects the transmitted signals against the influence of external electromagnetic interference. TMDS also enables a coding of signals in the bidirectional transmission process via HDMI. This method of digital coding and transmission of sound and video also falls within the hardware features of the Raspberry Pi 4B single-board minicomputer. Using the HDMI interface, you can easily and quickly connect your Raspberry Pi to a computer monitor, TV and other multimedia devices. The internal graphics processor Broadcom VideoCore VI provides amazing image quality for watching photos, videos and gaming too!
Original top-quality HDMI wires for Raspberry Pi - available at the Botland Store!
Raspberry Pi 4B dedicated HDMI cables licensed by Raspberry Pi Foundation are characterized by high mechanical strength and meet the hardware requirements of Raspberry Pi single-board minicomputers. Thanks to the use of reinforced insulation with triple shielding and depending on the model - nickel-plated or gold-plated plugs, the cables provide high-quality data transmission and very good protection against electromagnetic interference. In addition to the Raspberry Pi, you can also use these cables when you want to connect e.g. a TV and a game console or a camera with a recorder module in the video monitoring unit of the security system. When you connect the Raspberry Pi 4B to an external monitor using a wired connection through the HDMI port, then the computer's software will automatically adjust the video settings according to the monitor's working parameters. The latest computer from Raspberry Pi is the first design in this series, which is equipped with two micro HDMI ports, replacing the previously used single standard HDMI port. By connecting the Raspberry Pi with devices using standard HDMI connectors, you will need one to four HDMI-type to micro HDMI-type adapters. According to the hardware specifications, Raspberry Pi 4B can transmit video in HD 1080p quality with a 60Hz refresh rate and in 4K quality with a 60Hz refresh rate. Using two monitors simultaneously, the image in 4K quality is refreshed at a frequency of 30 Hz. This solution does provide amazing video quality for watching movies, many popular video games and for working on text documents and other office work-dedicated applications.
