The pre-filter for the xTool AP2 SafetyPro is a basic yet crucial element of the 6-layer air purification system . Its task is to capture larger particulates before they reach the medium and high-efficiency filters. Thanks to the purifier's cyclonic separation technology, the filter lasts ten times longer than standard pre-filters. Unlike traditional filter media, it's the cyclonic chamber, not the fleece, that separates large particles—and this element can be easily removed and washed under running water. This ensures the filter maintains its full effectiveness for a long time. The expected pre-filter life is up to 100 hours of operation , which corresponds to a test of: 75 hours of engraving plywood , 22 hours of cutting 3mm plywood, 2 hours of engraving acrylic, and 1 hour of cutting 3mm acrylic, conducted on an xTool S1 40W device. Actual life may vary depending on processing parameters.
