Product description: Module with USB type C connector to the PCB - Pololu 3411
Module with USB type C socket, which allows to connect the USB leads from the cable with USB-C plug to the PCB or connect them using wires. Leads are standard goldpin 2,54 mm. The dimensions of the module are: 20 x 15 x 5 mm.
The 24-pins in the USB-C connector make it difficult to use in prototyping projects. The board facilitates access to 8 pins placed in one line with a 2.54 mm raster. The module comes with a goldpin strip for self-soldering. The board can be used as power source or can be used to draw power, depending on CC configuration pins.

The board does not work with USB 3.1 (no Tx and Rx pins). It works only with slower USB 2.0 standard.
The connector has 8 pins:
- VBUS - power supply
- GND - system ground
- D+ and D- - differential lines for USB data transmission
- CC 1 and 2 - configuration pins
- SBU 1 and 2 - additional pins
