A sealed power connection in the field
The SenseCAP IP68 junction box connects the SenseCAP S2100 logger to a 12 V power supply and a sensor cable in a sealed housing, with no need for soldering or cable cutting. IP68 means a dust-tight enclosure that withstands long-term immersion in water, and the manufacturer's watertightness test covers 150 hours at a depth of 10 m.
Sensors with an RS485 interface, meaning an industrial serial link, that require 12 V, for example the SenseCAP S700-A station, need an external power supply, because the logger battery alone will not power them. You mount the box horizontally or vertically, lead the cables in through cable glands, meaning sealed pass-throughs with a nut, and wrap thinner cables with the included tape. The box also works for other outdoor cable connections.

Frequently asked questions
Does the box only fit the S2100?
No. The box fits any cable connection that has to be protected from water and dust, as long as the insulated cables are 4 mm to 8 mm in diameter.
What do I do with a thin cable?
Wrap the thinner cable with the included sealing tape, then tighten the gland nut so the connection stays watertight.

30 days to return, without giving a reason
