The Shelly Flood Gen4 is a modern flood sensor designed to protect your home or building from the effects of water leaks. It detects moisture immediately upon its appearance and sends a notification to the user, enabling a quick response before a minor leak turns into a major emergency. The sensor's key feature is a 2-meter detection cable , which allows for monitoring a larger area than standard point sensors. By connecting additional cables (available separately), you can extend the range up to 150 meters , making it ideal for plumbing, basements, or utility rooms. The sensor also offers two operating modes – Flood Detection and Rain Detection . This allows it to be used for both indoor leak detection and for monitoring rainfall in semi-open spaces.

Shelly Flood Gen4 supports multiple wireless communication standards— Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and ZigBee . This allows the sensor to easily integrate with various home automation systems and fit into existing smart home infrastructure. Support for the Matter standard allows for compatibility with multiple smart home ecosystem platforms. The sensor works with the Shelly Smart Control app, available free of charge in the App Store, Google Play, and AppGallery . The app allows you to monitor the device's status, receive water detection notifications, and create automations and action scenes. The device also has a built-in web interface that allows you to configure and control the sensor directly from a web browser.
The sensor's operating range can be increased up to 150 m using additional cables (purchased separately).
It is perfect for areas particularly susceptible to flooding, such as basements, kitchens, garages, laundries, summer houses and other rooms where moisture may occur.
