The camera module from DFRobot enables advanced video processing, image recognition on edge devices, and voice interactions . It is based on the ESP32-S3 system, which provides high computing capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence, enabling tasks such as object detection or image classification. Additionally, the module integrates a microphone and speaker , which allows voice interaction with the device. Thanks to the built-in camera with infrared function and a wide-angle lens, the module offers high image quality even in low light conditions, making it an ideal solution for applications such as night monitoring or as an electronic peephole.

Night vision camera with wide-angle lens
The module is equipped with an OV3660 camera with a 2-megapixel sensor that supports both visible light and infrared (940 nm). The camera provides a wide viewing angle of 160° and stable image processing in various lighting conditions. Thanks to the built-in infrared lighting and light sensor , the module automatically adapts to changing external conditions , offering excellent image quality regardless of the time of day. The integrated software supports object recognition and image classification functions, using platforms such as YOLO, OpenCV, or Edge Impulse . It is an ideal solution for video surveillance systems, license plate recognition, or consumer electronics.

Support for Edge Impulse and YOLO platforms allows you to easily create and train your own AI models that can be implemented directly on the device.
