Temperature sensors with display
Temperature sensors equipped with a display are a very convenient and intuitive solution. The way the measurement is presented in numerical form minimizes the possibility of erroneous reading of the temperature value - as opposed to, for example, mercury or alcohol thermometers, which need to be looked at at at the right angle to correctly read the measurement value. Additionally, such devices are easy to install, aesthetic and inexpensive. Combining a temperature sensor with a display is a very convenient solution, thanks to which the user does not have to choose a device which reads and presents the measurement data obtained by the sensor. Thermometers equipped with an LCD or LED screen also usually consume a negligible amount of electricity. All these advantages make the temperature sensors with a display one of the most popular types of thermometers.
Using thermometers with display
The ease of use and readability of the sensor data makes the screen temperature sensor suitable for virtually anyone. The presentation of the measurement is very clear and easy to interpret, and the devices themselves are inexpensive, energy efficient and reliable. This is the reason why the display models are very popular in everyday use - for example as room or window thermometers in households or offices. The devices are also ideally suited for use as part of larger electronic projects such as self-constructed weather stations or intelligent building installations.
Choosing the ideal model
When selecting a temperature sensor with display, it is worth noting several important factors that determine the adaptation of a model to different applications. One of the most important parameters is where and how the thermometer is to be mounted, the measuring range and accuracy, the power supply, possible communication with external receivers (if the device is to become part of a larger system or be operated remotely) and additional functions. The place of installation is directly connected with the planned application - if the device is to measure the temperature outside the building, it must be equipped with a sufficiently long and weather-resistant measuring probe. The method of mounting can vary and also depends on the purpose of the device: for example, window thermometers usually have suction cups that make it easy to place them in the desired location. The measuring range for this type of device is usually between -50°C and 100°C, which is completely sufficient for indoor or outdoor use, while the measuring accuracy is usually ±1°C. Most display thermometers are battery-powered, while more sophisticated models (e.g. weather stations) are connected to a wall socket via a standard DC power supply with appropriate current parameters. Some thermometers enable communication with other devices, for example by means of WiFi - then the user can check the readings by phone or computer from anywhere in the world.
Thermometers with display in our offer
In this category you will find temperature sensors with display for indoor and outdoor use. Our offer includes products of brands such as Velleman and Green Blue. In addition to window and panel thermometers, we also offer more extensive models, for example the weather station by Green Blue. The device has many useful functions - on a large and aesthetic screen you can read information about the current date and time, indoor and outdoor temperature, air humidity, atmospheric pressure and phases of the moon, as well as see what are the trends in weather conditions. The station can also be connected to WiFi, thanks to which the user will be able to read data remotely. We invite you to get acquainted with our offer of temperature sensors with display, as well as with the range available in other categories of our shop.
