FDM 3D Printing and Elegoo Centauri
Centauri offers ready-to-go solutions: printers automatically level the bed, feature a head cleaning system, and semi-automatic drive belt tensioning. Technologies such as automatic vibration compensation and pressure advance minimize resonance, ghosting, and other motion artifacts. Powerful cooling, including a chamber ventilation system and a carbon filter, allows for even curing of subsequent layers, and the system is compatible with a wide range of materials, from PLA and PETG to technical filaments, carbon fiber, and PC. Remote Wi-Fi connection enables control and over-the-air updates, and a built-in camera allows real-time monitoring of the printing process to increase predictability and minimize the risk of errors.
Centauri and Centauri Carbon
The standard Centauri version offers a build volume of 256 x 256 x 256 mm, print speeds up to 500 mm/s, and an incredible acceleration of up to 20,000 mm/s². In practice, the printer is designed to maintain stability and print accuracy even at this acceleration. The die-cast aluminum housing ensures stability and durability, while a color touchscreen and Wi-Fi or USB control make operation easier. The Centauri Carbon version expands its features with a chamber camera, advanced air filtration system, support for technical filaments, a reinforced drive system, and an improved cooling system. All of this is housed in an aesthetically pleasing, enclosed enclosure. These features make the Centauri Carbon suitable for projects requiring high precision and reliability over large print runs.
