Mean Well LRS-100-24 is a power supply for installation inside machines that delivers 24 V and up to 4.5 A, which is 108 W, in a metal housing measuring 129 x 97 x 30 mm. It also suits vending machines, measuring devices and control cabinets, and is fastened with M3 screws.
The efficiency is typically 90%, and with no load the power supply draws less than 0.3 W. It works from mains of 85 V to 264 V AC, withstands a voltage surge of up to 300 V AC for 5 seconds and operates at altitudes up to 5000 m. You can set the output voltage from 21.6 V to 28.8 V.

Did you know?
A power supply that works in the mountains
The manufacturer permits operating the LRS-100 at altitudes up to 5000 m above sea level. Above 2000 m the permissible ambient temperature drops by 5 °C for every further 1000 m, because thinner air cools the housing less effectively.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use it to power several devices at once?
Yes. The power supply has two +V and two -V terminals each, so you can easily distribute power as long as the total current does not exceed 4.5 A.
What happens in case of overload?
At a load of 110% to 150% of power, the power supply enters hiccup mode and returns to normal operation after the cause is removed.
How do I screw the power supply in place?
The housing has threaded M3 holes in the base and on the side, so you can mount it flat or vertically against the wall of the enclosure.
