Product description: Fiberlogy PCTG filament 1.75 mm 1 kg - Black
PCTG filament is an excellent alternative to PETG . As a filament, it belongs to the same material family as PETG, but offers increased impact strength (approximately 90 kJ/ m² ), temperature resistance, and clarity. It does not require a heated chamber, allowing it to be used in home printers. It provides high dimensional stability, and low shrinkage prevents model cracking. This makes it easy to use, even for those without extensive 3D printing experience. PCTG also withstands higher temperatures (up to 76°C) and is recyclable . The filament diameter is 1.75 mm . The product is black and comes on a spool. The net weight of the filament is 1 kg .
PCTG filament properties
- High impact strength (up to 20 times higher than PETG)
- High chemical resistance
- Ease of printing – dimensional stability and low shrinkage
- Suitable for food contact – BPA free ( Pure Transparent version only )
Suggested filament printing parameters
| Printing temperature | From 250°C to 270°C |
| Table temperature | From 90°C to 110°C |
| Closed chamber | Not required |
| Due to differences in printer design, the above data should be treated as guidelines and the appropriate values should be determined experimentally. |

Fiberlogy PCTG filament 1.75 mm 1 kg - Black
3D printing with PCTG filament is widely used in industry. It is used to produce spare parts and both simple and complex utility models. Its properties also make it suitable for use in the automotive industry for printing accessories, housings, air intakes, and fluid inlets. Another industry is sports. PCTG material is useful for producing durable and lightweight protective gear. It can also be used for prototyping.
PCTG filaments are used for FFF/FDM 3D printing. The typical density of this heat-shrinkable material is 1.23 g/cm³. The filament was manufactured by the renowned company Fiberlogy.
Fiberlogy PCTG 1.75 mm Filament - Additional Information
Based on DCS measurements, the glass transition temperature of PCTG filament was determined to be 88℃. The maximum elongation at break, as measured by ISO 527, was 220%. The material is distinguished by the high light transmittance of PCTG heat-shrinkable material, which is as high as 90%.
Another feature of this filament is its very high adhesion. Due to this, it's recommended to print with masking tape. Other advantages include its considerable resistance to tearing, stretching, and bending.
Filaments are hygroscopic (they absorb moisture), so breaching the airtight vacuum packaging permanently reduces the quality and value of the product. Therefore, if you return an unpacked item, your refund amount will be reduced proportionally. Returns resulting from manufacturing defects (e.g., damaged or cut filament) are an exception. Please carefully verify the color and material type on the label before opening the packaging.
