Multifunctional sensor that not only checks the concentration of PM10, PM2.5 and PM1.0, but also measures temperature and humidity. The sensor provides accurate data that can be used to improve indoor air quality. The device communicates via the UART, allowing easy integration with Arduino and STM32.

Working principle
Such a sensor uses the principle of laser scattering of airborne particles, then collecting the scattered light to a large extent and finally obtaining the scattered light curve. Uniform particle diameter and number of particles with different volume diameter are calculated by microprocessor based on MIE theory. Below is a schematic of the sensor operation.

PMS5003T - Multifunction sensor
The PMS5003ST is a multifunctional sensor that is designed to detect not only particle concentration, but also to measure temperature and humidity values. As a particulate concentration sensor, it can be used to measure the number of particles suspended in the air using a laser.
Applications of PMS5003T sensor
The sensor can be inserted into a variety of measuring instruments designed to test environmental parameters in the air, as well as other instruments for assessing environmental pollution parameters, to provide the necessary measurement data in real time. The advantage of the PMS5003T multifunctional sensor is its ability to detect particles with a diameter of 0.3µm and above. The PMS5003T sensor on offer will be ideal for measuring dust/air pollution, temperature and humidity.
