Product Description: The dust/air quality, temperature, humidity sensor - PMS5003T - DFRobot SEN0233
Multifunctional sensor that not only checks the concentration of PM10, PM2.5 and PM1.0, but also measures temperature and humidity. The sensor provides accurate data that can be used to improve indoor air quality. The device communicates via the UART, allowing easy integration with Arduino and STM32.
Working principle
Such a sensor uses the principle of laser scattering of airborne particles, then collecting the scattered light to a large extent and finally obtaining the scattered light curve. Uniform particle diameter and number of particles with different volume diameter are calculated by microprocessor based on MIE theory. Below is a schematic of the sensor operation.
