Filament Silk by Devil Design is a thermoplastic material in the form of a fiber. It is used for 3D printing using the FFF method. The gold filament is factory-wound on a spool and vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber. The spool contains 1 kg of product. It can be used in all FFF printers that are not secured against the use of filaments from external suppliers.

It is possible that the material coming out of the nozzle will swell noticeably when loading the filament or when printing with it. However, this is a completely natural effect that results from the surface tension of the polymers that make up the filament material. For better results, the manufacturer recommends setting the airflow to high during printing and lowering print speeds.
Due to differences in printer designs, the above data should be treated as guidelines and the appropriate values should be determined experimentally. |
