The Aqara Hub M3 is a multi-protocol control unit designed for complex Smart Home installations. The device functions as a Matter controller, Matter bridge, and Thread border router , while also supporting Aqara devices using ZigBee . The M3 was designed with a focus on local data processing and automation , allowing some scenes to operate even without internet access. A built-in infrared transmitter, speaker , and extensive network connectivity allow a single control unit to perform multiple tasks within a home automation system.
The built-in 360° infrared transmitter allows you to use the Aqara Hub M3 to control compatible devices.

The Aqara Hub M3 combines several communication standards in a single device, facilitating the development of a comprehensive smart home system. The hub supports ZigBee/Thread IEEE 802.15.4, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual-band 2.4 GHz/5 GHz WiFi , and can also be connected to the network via Ethernet .
