Product description: Tuya - smart 3/4'' valve with water consumption measurement - WiFi - RTX WVG3
The Tuya RTX WVG3 is a modern valve designed for convenient and easy control of your garden irrigation system. The device communicates via WiFi and works with the Tuya/Smart Life app, allowing for both local and remote water flow control, as well as the creation of automation and irrigation schedules. The RTX WVG3 is powered by four 1.5V AA batteries , so it requires no electrical connection and offers flexible installation location. Its IP65 -rated housing increases the device's resistance to outdoor conditions, and a built-in strainer helps protect the mechanism from contaminants. The valve's design allows for combining multiple devices into a single system , allowing for independent control of different irrigation sections. The built-in flow meter allows for real-time monitoring of water consumption, as well as checking total water consumption and watering history. The app also allows you to monitor battery status and reset the consumption counter. The valve is compatible with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Home Assistant and can act as one of the elements of an extensive Smart Home system.
Tuya - smart 3/4'' valve with water consumption measurement - WiFi - RTX WVG3.
The built-in strainer prevents dirt from entering the valve mechanism.
Main features of the Tuya RTX WVG3 valve
- Smart irrigation: local and remote control of water flow in your garden system using automation and scheduling
- Water consumption monitoring: ability to measure current flow and total water consumption
- Watering by time or water consumption: stops the irrigation process after a specified time or after a set amount of water has flowed
- Valve operation history: enabling access to historical data in the application regarding watering time and water consumption
- Battery powered: reliable operation of the device without dependence on a wired power source thanks to the use of four 1.5 V AA batteries
- IP65 housing: high protection against changing weather conditions, which allows the valve to be used outdoors
- Built-in strainer: reduces dirt from entering the valve mechanism and helps it function properly
- Integration with Smart Home systems: compatibility with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Home Assistant
- Expandable installation: connect multiple valves to control multiple sections of the irrigation system
Remote control of water consumption and valve control thanks to WiFi communication and the Tuya application
The RTX WVG3 valve utilizes Wi-Fi communication, allowing it to be remotely controlled via the Tuya/Smart Life app. Once the device is connected to your home wireless network, you can remotely control the water flow. Without requiring direct access to the valve, this solution allows you to conveniently start and stop watering and monitor the irrigation system both while at home and away. The use of WiFi communication eliminates the need to purchase a compatible gateway, which, in the case of the ZigBee standard, is required for the device to function properly. Remote access to the RTX WVG3 increases the convenience of operating the entire irrigation system and reduces the need for manual valve control. This feature can be particularly useful when traveling, when managing a larger garden, or in areas where regular manual watering is difficult. The ability to control operating parameters and water consumption from a single app allows for more efficient watering management and better adjustment of watering frequency to current needs.
The use of WiFi communication eliminates the need to purchase a compatible gateway, which in the case of the ZigBee standard is necessary for the correct operation of the device.
